The 8oz indigo striped fabric is produced on a narrow shuttle loom. At first glance, it looks like a simple stripe of indigo and off-white, but in fact, small white areas can be seen in the indigo base, and in these areas ikat threads are used, which are a single thread dyed in two colors using the "Kukuri" technique. Dyeing with such fine pitch is very difficult so the Toyo team visited several dyeing studios and used special techniques to reproduce the short-pitch ikat threads.

Based on an original work coat made by Headlight Co. in the 1930s, this piece is a golden age specification filled with distinctive details such as pre-war change buttons, a 3-in-1 pocket on the left chest, and adjustable cuffs.
