Hailing form our very own Melbourne, these pieces are made of a blend of hand-dug clays from around Victoria, hand processed and aged in the artist's Kinglake studio. Mason by name and ceramicist by trade, the name hails from the Danish word 'Kunststof' meaning plastic, or artificial fabric, a word which traces its origin back to Italian. Referencing his first passion of language, Mason is a trained interpreter and translator that worked in Italian, French, Danish and Portuguese. Thankfully for us he switched completely (for now) and these are the stunning results. Absolutely beautiful and incredibly unique, Stof ceramics are a sight to behold.
