Directed by Sayatomo Yashiki, the eponymous brand is a small knitwear affair that specialises in beautiful woollen affairs, a wonderful melange of both fabrics and vintage, contemporary styles and details. In their own words:-

The plain jersey knit base represents a wet, shining roadway with melted snow that has not piled up, and the rounded cable knit on the shoulders represents snow that has piled up on the sides and fluffy falling snow. A smooth, shiny shrink-proof yarn made from a blend of New Zealand fine wool and Australian merino wool is used.

The shoulders are dropped when worn, giving a soft impression, and the garment is finished in homage to the kimono pattern that has become a staple of YASHIKI.
The base of the sleeves features the brand's iconic "Yagasuri" pattern.
