Tender’s rib cotton socks are knitted and hand linked in England from raw unbleached cotton, with nylon for durability, then dyed with natural dyes. 

Sienna earth pigments are named for the Italian city state of Siena, where they were produced and widely used during the 15th-16th Century Renaissance. Raw sienna is a yellowish beige, which becomes redder as 'burnt' sienna when it is heated.

Tender’s socks are made with a loop-back, or terry, double knit sole. This makes them especially comfortable, and appropriate to wear with lighter shoes or even heavy boots.
