Lessons gathered from long watches and countless miles on the campaign trail have culminated in a newly reworked chambray shirt built for endurance. Constructed in Japan from rugged selvedge indigo chambray and produced under the watchful eye of John Lofgren Bootmaker, the Coastwatcher chambray shirt combines old world workmanship with practical field utility. Triple stitched felled seams, oversized olive drab buttons and asymmetrical utility pockets place this garment squarely on the job and firmly in the fight. A respectful nod to vintage “Reliance” style shirts sees the traditional “Luckies” pocket replaced by a larger offset counterpart better suited to modern campaign requirements while retaining the spirit of the originals.
