Fish, are an important part of the ecosystem. They are also a trifle beautiful, with vibrant colours, patterns and shapes. Drawn by Satoshi Kaga, this bandanna has been a work of love and patience. Over several months and many many many, adjustments and fine-tuning we got it to look like a piece of art. Inspired by various unrelated inspirations, this first was based on a paper label then influenced by an old bandanna, and later a rug. The end result is a curious piece of bandanna art that will look absolutely incredible tied or wrapped around a person. The art style and arrangement of this bandanna is a bit of a throwback to the 1800s but only in jest. The look of the fish and use of bubble dots to create an underwater effect was a precarious undertaking. Making new things look like they’re old is not easy. Well we tried. I think it looks amazing.
