The windshield is a reproduction of an acrylic dome windshield to give it an antique feel. The luminescent paint on the numbers, indexes, and hands on the dial uses "LumiNova (R)" paint, which is only allowed to be used on Swiss watches, and has a longer luminescence time and stronger luminescence than regular luminous.
