The Mitchell pattern camouflage fabric was adopted as an official military standard for tents, helmet covers, and other items intended for camouflage purposes. However, with the advent of the Vietnam War, jackets and trousers began to be manufactured locally. Due to their local production, these items are rare, and several variations exist. The print is double-sided, similar to the Frogskin print used during World War II, featuring both jungle and desert designs. The material is a thick satin fabric, with the jungle side using the reverse side of the satin.
