The Fused Checks is a deconstructed check fabric produced in Veneto, created by combining yarns of different counts, including mouliné yarns, to build a surface with greater depth, movement and visual irregularity. The different yarn structures interact within the weave, giving the check a less graphic and more textured appearance, while maintaining a soft, fluid hand. Inspired by Italian fabrics from the 1980's and 1990's, it reinterprets the traditional checked pattern with a more contemporary and deliberately unconventional character.
Gathering at the waist creates a soft, naturally draped shape, allowing the fabric to move freely around the body. An elasticated section at the back of the waistband follows the body without restricting it. The two pockets are applied internally, while their stitching remains visible on the outside, recalling a detail typically found on classic fatigue trousers. Inside, the pockets are a lining in cupro and cotton an almost hidden detail designed to make even the simple gesture of placing a hand in the pocket feel softer and more comfortable.
