This denim blouse is a 1936 model, from a time when the tuck buttons on the front and cuffs had just recently changed from small buttons for pants flies to full-sized buttons for tops. Crafted from 13.5oz. selvedge denim using an immature, unevenly spun warp/weft count of 7, the pre-war orange stitching stands out against the denim. The back of the left chest pocket flap is made from light-weight denim, and selvedge can be seen on the edge of the front body. NB: Sizes 42 and 44 have the straight back as pictured and the sizes 46 and 48 have the 'T' back as pictured, to accomodate more fabric for the larger sized jacket.
