This is a water-resistant puffer jacket,  made of ultra-lightweight 100% recycled polyester, and treated with a durable water-repellent finish to protect it from light rain. In addition, recycled down from the Green Down Project is used for the filling. We also use water-repellent down to cover the loss of heat retention when wet.

Not to mention (again) that it keeps you warm & dry but the whole thing can be packed down inside the hood, doubling as a camp pillow. Further details include two way zip front, ribbed cuffs,  two large front pockets with smaller pockets inside for ready valuables.
