This fabric is woven on a handloom using an extra weft technique which is a discontinuous weft technique of weaving. In this technique, motifs are inlaid into the fabric by adding a denser thread to warp by hand. This process is extremely difficult and time consuming involving extremely skilled textile artisans.

 Note: The garment may exhibit patchy dyeing and marks as a result of the natural dyeing process. The print may naturally fade due to exposure to sunlight and washing. Dry crocking (the transfer of dye onto other fabrics and surfaces when dry) may also occur. Refrain from pairing this clothing item with light colours until any remaining colour has been eliminated, as there might be some colour transfer.
