The Lot. 15302 blue denim work coat by Buzz Rickson's is a perfect replica of those worn by the U.S. Army. It was originally a pullover style until 1940 when it was replaced by the open-front style, making it easier to put on and take off. Unlike the earlier pullover type, the coat style was not designed to be tucked in, so the chest pocket was moved to a waist pocket with a flap.
