For those of you who have followed us for years, you will know that denim has
always been at the heart of PPHH since opening our doors all of those many years
ago. In our opinion, there is no continuing brand that has more of a connection to
denim and work workwear than Levi Strauss & Co.
It’s no secret we have also been heavily influenced by Japanese style, production
and their passion to produce the best garments in the world. With this in mind, you’ll
understand why we’re so excited to launch Levi’s Blue Tab Collection at PPHH Store
on Saturday 1st March.
Levi’s Blue Tab is a men’s and women’s collection that revisits the brand’s history of
crafting authentic workwear and wardrobe staples while celebrating the “art of denim
dressing.” Using elevated fabrics, such as neppy denim, chambray shirting and lightweight selvedge denim, this collection is very much a portmanteau of the Levi’s Vintage Clothing, Made & Crafted and Levi’s Made in Japan product lines.
The men’s range is rooted in Americana stylings, featuring the Marker Loose – a
mid-rise, straight fit jean made with rich inky lightweight denim – a favourite amongst
the PPHH staff already! For the women’s range, the focus is on denim tailoring and
feminine craftsmanship. Standout pieces include a relaxed blazer and ‘sea glass’
wash Barrel MIJ jean.
Even the label has a past, with Levi’s referencing their own roots. “In our Archives,
we found a bill of sales from 1925 that used really interesting typography for the Levi
Strauss and Co. font. We based our logo on this unique typography that you will see
throughout our labelling and packaging.”
To compliment the collection we have also received a little drop of the LVC Classic
Sportswear Tee in white, black and new season vibrant green!
To support this exciting collection, PPHH will hold an offical in-store launch event on Saturday 1st March, 2025. Some Japanese themed drinks and snacks will be on offer but the main event is, of course, the collection. Available to touch, feel and try on at it’s one and only Australian independent retail stockist.

garments with chain-stitched lettering or graphics – LIVE!!
