With the recent drop of beautiful french fragrance label Bon Parfumeur in store, we have been feverishly spritzing and sniffing the range, getting to know each scent intimately.
In order to succinctly present you with our findings we have described each fragrance according to it's best suited astrological sign, along with a little narrative on each scents ideal environment.
These descriptions are by no means intended to box anyone in to a particular structure, but more a gentle guideline to help you get to know each fragrance better. Enjoy!

ARIES _ 001
Bold, ambitious, audacious; Aries are known for diving headfirst into challenges in order to reach the number one position, settling for nothing less than the spotlight. It’s no surprise then that the perfect scent for the divas of the astrological world would be 001. This cologne style fragrance hits in sparkling, energetic bursts of scent from orange blossom to lavender to bergamot. Think a moment of laughter shared over a strong evening coffee with your stage manager/lover before you take the stage to perform as the headliner of Glastonbury.

TAURUS _ 102
Taureans are known for their sensitivity to their surroundings, preferring to find solace in soft sounds, complex flavours and indulgent aromas. With its subtle but complex notes of green tea and cardamom 102 would appeal perfectly to the sensibilities of our Taurus angels. They would wear this over a soft velour robe while lounging on piles of white pillows in a mid-city park, croissant in one hand, mimosa in the other; the honking of horns and chatter of pigeons masked by the tranquil sound of a large marble fountain gurgling.

Playful, multifaceted Geminis’ are known for their wit, ability to juggle a multitude of passions and opinions, and their social nature. Capturing their complexities can only be achieved through layering two scents. 103 is a fresh, floral scent with undertones of milky vanilla, while 902 is rich and woody with notes of tobacco and leather. The sensitive empaths, Cancer are known for their seemingly hard, withdrawn exteriors which inevitably give way to soft, buttery insides with a little time. Naturally gentle and compassionate these astrological crabs would appreciate the soft cedar and patchouli undertones of 602, while identifying with the sharpness of its pepper and citrus top notes.
This scent would be worn on a romantic road trip to a secluded beach house with their long term partner, cuddled on the couch for a quiet weekend of reading by candle light.

LEO _ 201
Known as the royalty of the astrological jungle, Leo’s are known for their loyalty, passion, theatrics and perpetual pursuit of the spotlight. It is with no doubt that 201 would be the fragrance spritzed onto their noble manes, with its sharp opening notes of green apple and pear, that soften into exotic tones of lily of the valley and woody musks.
Our Leo would apply this on a spontaneous night out with their pack, the scent mixing with that of cocktails inevitably spilled as they climb onto the stage to dedicate very specific songs to each of their best friends.

Systematic Virgos are ruled by logic and are not afraid of hard work and continual practice to reach peak perfection. The sharp, uncomplicated nature of 601 would appeal to a Virgos senses, with citric Bergamot, spicy Pink Pepper and bitter Grapefruit creating a distinct and lasting top note. With this in mind 101 is an ideal scent for its combination of rose, musk, cotton, lavender and patchouli striking the perfect balance between masculine and feminine. It would be worn sparingly and sensually on a Librans skin on a first date with a potential soulmate, drinking just the right amount of gin and tonics with a cucumber and mint garnish.

SCORPIO _ 901
Powerful, passionate Scorpios are often misunderstood for their intense energy and fiery demeanour, however they derive their strength from their emotions so are in fact quite sensitive deep down. With its strong top notes of almond, nutmeg and black pepper, 901 aligns well with the sensibilities of a Scorpio when these intense smells warm slowly on the skin to reveal its vanilla and tonka bean base. Often perceived as unemotional and cold due to their unwavering focus in pursuit of their goals, Capricorns are precise, calculating and ambitious. With its spicy, woody top notes 902 would appeal to their sharp, uncompromising nature, while the tobacco and vanilla base notes would work with their underlying empathy and compassion.
