Armor-Lux was founded in 1938, in Quimper, France by Walter Hubacher. He noticed a lack of good quality underwear in Europe, and therefore sought out the best knitting machines in order to produce his dream.
Taking inspiration from the French maritime tradition, Armor-Lux produces authentic nautical pieces, representing over 75 years experience following the same values of quality, innovation and ethics.
The cut of the Heritage Sailor Shirt (which we stock in four colourways) is the same cut as was developed from the beginning, and are made from the lushest, thick cotton.
We are excited to have a couple of new styles added to the H+H Armor-Lux collection, including the Fisherman's Smock in a stiff, bright cotton, worn below. Also on offer, the Heritage Sweat; a boxy mens style fit sweatshirt made from a terry towelling, textured cotton.
These classic new Armor-Lux pieces are now available in store, and very soon to be online. In the meantime, browse our existing collection of Armor-Lux goods here!
